Great shot again Joel, I like the composition on this one alot.
Very nice shots Denise! The first one is excelent, subject could be a tich brighter (on my moniter at least). Otherwise very nice.
The Cardinals are great also, I like the pose of the last one but he is looking down. Otherwise the first one is the best. A lower angle would be give it more bokeh and a more pleasing perspective. These could also be brighter but more so than the first, whatever you call it!
Great shots everyone,
John.
Here is a couple of shots taken today, this time I duck taped a small branch to the fence for a perch! Again with the Better Beamer with 1/16th power, ISO 3200, 250th sec, resting the lens on the fenceateye level.

Thanks Bill,
Here I croped it so there is less room to the left, the first version was uncropped so I had to make do.

Taken at 600mm with 2X extender, wide open,ISO 6400,800/th sec, tripod. This is the firstdecent shot ofa Heron I have taken so far. He just wouldn't take off! I stayed there for half an hour and waved my hands made noise used my flash, nothing made him move!
There are more backyard birds in the works.
Cheers,
John.
