Beautiful Jay (Blue, not Green:cool:)
They are one of my local favorites too!
Ha! Before April, I didn't even know there was a Green Jay! But, the activity at the bird feeder has picked up. I haven't captured a picture, but Indigo Buntings and a Rose Breasted Grosbeak were there yesterday.
I have taken a stack in the back yard .... first week or so of May is probably the best time here due to migrants coming through.... haven't looked at them yet.
The Rose Breasted Grosbeaks are here now too but only temporarily.
Will get to them soon as I have been putting in in 2-3 hours per day and am pretty much done with the Laguna Seca batch.
Ready for the planning stage of the next trip!
