One more from yesterdays shoot---this one with a little artistic touch.

I know this could be better but maybe I'll replace it once I try a few different pp techniques ...

Extremely windy today so these guys were doing everything they could to fly and I was doing everything I could to keep them in my viewfinder!
DD, Nice shots, I especially like the third one---GIF (Gull in Flight)

ISO 12,800, 400th sec, wide openat f/6.3,tripod, focused through the viewfinder.
I am very impressed with the noiselevels in this shot. It was uncroped, brightly exposed andno deep shadows which all adds up to a usable shotevenat 12,800.
Cheers,
John.
Any ideas on the species? The mom is very elusive and I haven't gotten a good look at her. I'd say Goldfinch, but it's pretty early for them to breed in Missouri.
