Thanks! Joel and Stuart are truly dedicated to making great bird imagery and it shows in their output, but I try to dabble now and then. It is fun.

Those are really great portraits and I a especially love the raptors. Probably because I have so few images of them. In the wild they are almost impossible to approach (at least where I live) so I really love to see a close up detailed image of one.
I have concentrated on birds mostly because they have fascinated me since childhood and I live in an area with a good variety of field and woodland birds. My job and helping care for my elderly mother-in-law who is stricken with dementia prohibit me from much travel in pursuit of photography so I use my yard and a setup. Make the most of what you've got right?
I do have some bucket list bird locations. The top two are Alaska for Eagles and Ecuador for Hummingbirds.... maybe someday.
Actually there is supposed to a raptor display nearby this coming weekend so I am going to go see what they have and maybe try to get some images.
