Looks like you are making nice progress.....the first image is the best.....the bird is flying toward you which makes a much better image than when they are angled away from the camera (IMHO)

A series of duck images from a city park.....all with the 7DII + 300mm f/2.8L + 1.4 TCII handheld.
It was 95 degrees and very humid as well as somewhat overcast...not ideal conditions. I was trying some extremes .... some very high ISO and some slow shutter speeds and high f-stops. All were hand held. The light wasn't providing much contrast but still got a few keepers.

i havent figured out what bird this is yet, there are quite a few species that look alike. it thinks its a warbler . any of you guys know ?
