I've been ignoring the birds at my bird feeder. They are happily fed. But took a couple months off from trying to photograph them for whatever reason.
Well, I think we all knew that wouldn't last.... :)

Got back to taking a few pictures at my feeder last week. I saw an immature rose-breasted grosbeak, which, according to the Merlin App, are not too common for New Hampshire. Which, I've probably only seen them at my feeder 4-5 times, so that sounds about right.

Cool sighting and wonderful details in these shots!! Due to good weather and plenty of natural forage my feeders aren't very active right now but recently I did see a female rose breasted GB .... headed south no doubt:)

Thanks... Other than the Grosbeak, just the usual suspects here. Still fun. I am working on a new perch, so hopefully will have that going soon.

Did a quick trip down to Florida. Had a great time with Busted Knuckles. Two Osprey images taken at the Sebastian Inlet.

Looks like fun! The third image is a stunner.
2 years ago we had a Snowy that hung around here for a couple of months ..... very rare in Ky.
It stayed in small area about 2 miles from my house and it drew a lot of attention. Birders from several states found out about it.
I was able to get some nice pictures of it perched on a fence post but most of the time I checked it was far from the road.
