Re: Post your best current shots
Note: I did not actually trip the shutter for this shot (or, rather, the three shots that were combined to create this image). However, I did choose the location, set up the lights, frame the shot, suggest the ISO, shutter speed, and aperture that were used, and post-process the image. So we'll call it a 50/50 collaboration... ;-)

Re: Post your best current shots
Ohhhh I love that half hour exposure Ben. I have done a few shots like that, it is probably the most challenging photo I have taken.
I shot the end of the year "Pops Concert" at my high school. It was so much fun to shoot. After I shot the school's battle of the bands I decreed that concerts were my favorite things to shoot, this one disappoint. My friend let me borrow her 50mm f/1.4, which worked fantastically, the only problem I had was the DOF was too shallow, which is just awesome haha.
So here are some of the better shots from the night.
All shot with the Canon T1i and the 50mm f/1.4

Great shots everyone!
This is Jen relaxing as the sun went down with her iPad and a lit candle to keep some bugs away. I played with different exposures and liked the 2 second look best. How many iPads does it take to equal the power of one Speedlight? [:D]

Re: Post your best current shots
I decided that I hadn't really pushed my star trails photo to the limits in post (in fact it was basically straight out of camera) so I made some edits, what do you think of the changes?

@thekingb: I love your sunset photo! The colors are beautifully warm and the clouds make the sun look like Jupiter!
Re: Post your best current shots
Ben, the results are absolutely striking! The edits really brought out the cloudy, milkiness to the right. I keep on looking for some hidden image in it!
