Very cool shots of the little frogmen :)
If you're theking, then surely they're Frog Princes.
Too funny. Great shot.
Did they try to kiss them... just in case :)
Here is an idea, albeit elaborate : http://www.luminous-landscape.com/lo.../tuscany.shtml
Great shots of your young blokes with the frogs Brian, did they start out that brave when the frogs were first discovered?
A few from our annual charity football game.

Nice shots, Steve.
It's a good thing we don't live down under in your neck of the woods, as my kids have never demonstrated fear of animals....here's a poor quality iPhone pic of their camping expedition last night with their grandparents. My older one regularly dives into the grasses to snag the fortunately harmless garter snake...

Steve - This guy seems to have lost his leg?
Nice shots Steve, great b&w processing!
Nice shots Steve!
Wow.., that must of been a really rough game!
Rich
I was stuck at home the other day and stood in the backyard, cursing and watching this develop.
This is straight out of camera, just squashed down a bit for here.

Maroondah Dam in the Yarra Valley, Hoya NDX400. Still working on my landscape skills.

Beautiful image Wally. Great detail and contrast in the rocks and that creamy water is nice.
Stunning Image Wally, Nice work. Looks like your landscape skills are coming along just fine:D
Thanks Guys
Nice, Wally. Excellent B&W where one wouldn't be expected. Well done.
Wish we had some water here. This is a view on my commute home. Corn to the horizon. But sadly, most of it will be lost this year. In the second image, the ditch should be half full of water instead of overgrown with grass.

These landscapes go on forever...Nice one Mark :)
Mark - The corn around here is in the same shape. If you did not irrigate, the crop is a complete loss here.
So for a little water:

Bait Shack-6157 by westmichigan, on Flickr
Love that bait shack shot, Pat. Nicely framed.
Nice work Mark love the different corn field images, so different to what I am used to.
Very good composition with the ship and the shed Pat, great balance to the shots.
I've never had much luck with rangas. They tend to get angry with me for no reason at all.
But I did manage to get this beautiful girl to let me take her picture.

Correct.
I have learned so much from this resource, it feels good to give a little bit back.
Ranga is a term of endearment for red heads. It is a shortened form of the word "Orangutan", that big orange haired monkey/ape.
Of course my caption was a little bit tongue in cheek and actually my wifes "current" hair colour some might has a shade of red to it, I prefer to think it is more Cabernet coloured.
That's funny Pat.
I generally don't like generalizations either. And that one that red heads tend to be quick tempered, is also a generalization, obviously.
Ask your wife if she is familar with other terms of endearment here in Australia for red heads?
Ginger
Bloodnut
Bluey- which is the opposite of red.
But our flavour of the month here is definitely "ranga", I think they may even have a National Red Head/Ranga day now.
Run Pat run.
Continuing with my exploration of hair colour. Obviously another natural example.

White River Lighthouse-7057 by westmichigan, on Flickr
Nice contrast and detail there Pat and the leading line and boat and lighthouse are compositionally perfect.
This young girl was in a mood to party and kick her heels up. Just don't stand too close.

Mark - What a great background and setting. I hope he did not drop her:rolleyes:
I think it's a great shot, but my first thought was I wanted to give them a nudge.. the sequence of the bride or bride groom combo falling into the water would have been an internet sensation.
@Pat I really like your sailboat shot as well. Did you use a graduated filter? and mind me asking what you did in PP?
