While at breakfast this was the scene at Jackson Lake. My R5 was some minutes' walk away, so I only had my cell phone. It still catches some of the color on the mountains before full dawn, with the moon and ( I think) Venus above.

Most years I have a work trip to Banff and get to see Jonathan and photograph the Canadian Rockies. This year, I had a number of other work trips that diverted me. But, not all of them were bad. Great stuff! I'd personally jump at the chance to go to Italy too. We had a very dry October here in the Banff area but now everything is draped in blankets of snow and it's so pretty out. However now I'm obsessed with riding my fat bike (it's so much fun!). I have too many hobbies... :rolleyes:
Totally Agree. My travels are largley domestic and looks like Sept or '23 will be in Jonathans neighborhoodfor several days.
