I have to say, I'm really liking the photo ops on the west coast. I've been using The Photographer's Ephemeris app on an iPad to plan my sunset shots, and it definitely makes things easy. This one is from Crescent City, California.

Perfect sunset, Jonathan. I wish I had an ocean, or even some water near here. Next month I'll be back in MA for a few days. I'll be using that app to plan some shots.

Wow +16 on an L-lens...that's just within the boundaries. Did you calibrate on different focusing distances? I remember that my 100mmL was spot on perfect on close-up distances, but was severely front-focusing on full body portrait distances.

Well +16 is close to, but still within the reach of the focus adjustment, so you're good to go :D It wouldn't take a better shot if it only needed +3 for example.(it's easier to sell if needed that's the only thing I can think off:rolleyes:)
