And now paper bills are being phased out by plastic bills here in Canada :(. I miss the texture of paper bills...

+1 what neuro says, and in my personal opinion, 85mm is great for head-to-shoulders shots on a T2i; 100mm is a bit too long for me in portraits, but great for indoor sports.
That really made me LOL.
Here's my camera bag:

Lowepro Nova 190AW
5DM2 with 24-105
17-40 f/4
70-200 f/4 IS
100 Macro f/2.8
+1, You should wait and see if the firmware really improves the AF performance.
I'd go with the 70-200mm f/4 non IS L if your budget is around $600. But if you can save up a little bit more, go for the 70-200mm f/4 IS L. IMO, it has a slightly better IQ than the non-IS version,...
+1 Tripod and lighting is far more important than lenses in product photography imo. This will be a good starter kit, and you can expand your arsenal as you reach the limitations of your gears, or...
Wow! I love your watch, it's nice and sharp and I also like the reflections and the colour of the sunglasses. Good lighting and processing techniques. It's great product photography imo. It's...
I'm a proud owner of my 17-40mm f/4..and it's an amazing lens. But since you have a 7D, and I assume you just got it..I think 17-55mm f/2.8 is a better choice. I don't know the lighting condition in...
Great shot of the sunset,Pat. I love the colour and the dreamy water. I'm actually really jealous of you, I live in Vancouver and it ALWAYS rain (we get snow sometimes)...yeah we do get nice views of...
Joel: Really nice shots..I can only dream of a 1DX, glad you're enjoying it :)
I know this isn't any superb BIFs or wild birds..but it's my favourite bird since childhood :)...
It's really cool observing the growth of plants..this one grew from nothing to blooming in just a couple days.

Unfortunately it's an oil refinery by the river...and they're planning to build a pipeline that goes all the way to the state of Washington from Vancouver.
Amazing shot of the nutcracker with a wide angle lens, Jonathan! I've always wanted to visit Banff and Lake Louise...
Wally: Great B&W portriat, it's definitely something that I can learn from..

Long time no post...been super busy with school. During winter break, I went to Taipei and it was perfect for some street photography.
Some of my favourites:...
Congrats! I went for the 17-40 f/4 L as well, as I planned to upgrade to FF. It's great on my 550D, but OH MY GOD when I used it on my friend's 5D II, that's where the lens really shines, and works...
Yup...it happens to me a lot of times, having the wrong settings, but nice picture still.
Here's a B&W of Lower Falls at Yellowstone.

Thank you, and I think so too, kinda lost some details in the darks/shadows.
I shot this with my 70-200mm F/4 IS on my T2i, I was really close to the heron, within like 20ft.
A shot during my visit to a local park, saw this Great Blue Heron from afar, then rushed to the shorelines and waited for about half an hour for its flight-
Here it is,...
Wow, great shots..
here's one from my recent trip to Yellowstone.
