Some fantastic pictures Jayson. I love the owl.
Thank you, it's greatly appreciated ! Your pictures are on another level. I really love the Pika.
I'll post a few this year even if I can't really say I had a single outing dedicated to photography. Every picture is either taken from my home or during a walk with my children.
I took this one...

Summer is slowly fading away and we had our first (very limited) snowfall of the year today. I was able to capture some of the morning light.

Well, it’s maybe the first time I could give the victory to any of you and be happy with my choice… I do really like the atmosphere in Kari’s shot, the perfect timing and beautiful bird in Joel’s,...
Sorry for the late reply Jonathan. Thanks for the nice comments. I'm definitely lucky, even if I can't go hiking in the mountains as often as I'd like to nowadays...
I still don't have much time for photography, but I got this shot early this morning with my R6 and RF 100-400, on my balcony.

So... I had to go back and forth quite a few times, and the late additions made me think again. In the end, I'm going to chose Jonathan's "New lens day". Owls are fascinating birds, but they are...
Four worthy entries this week. The nod goes to Brant's "Blue Grosbeak", for the nice colors (and the bird's name too, it's very funny for a french-speaking person like me).
I've got nothing that matches the wonderful pictures shown by other members here. The vast majority of my favorite pictures are family pictures I won't share here, and all the pictures I took this...
I upgraded to Monterey a few days ago and DPP4 works seamlessly. I hope you can solve your problems quickly.
It was difficult for me to resist to Brant’s fluffy bird, but I’ll go with Jonathan’s Hail to the Chief for its great subject. Honorable mention to Kari’s always fantastic northern lights.
Great...
This week’s contest goes to Joel’s « Imminent launch ». I like the slightly blurry wings which emphasize the moment captured.
All the other pictures were worthy opponents. Congrats everyone !
Here are a few of my more or less current shots. All taken with my M6 Mark II and EF-M lenses. I traded some of my full-frame lenses for a R6 a few weeks ago but still haven't used it much.

Hello everyone,
After going back and forth for some time I decided this week’s winner would be Joel’s Northern Flicker Pair. Nice job capturing the moment and two beautiful birds. Congratulations !
The snow makes it look more impressive than it is. But I like this rock, its one of the nice views we have here.
Another quick shot taken while taking a walk around my house.

Congrats Zach ! And thanks Brant for taking the time to organize this every week.
While I do love this annual thread too, it's always difficult to post in it when you have to come after the amazing contributions you guys put up every year.
It was definitely a special year for...
Some very nice pictures this week. The nod goes to Brant's "High Ground". I like the very dynamic position of both birds and the fact that they are looking at each other. Thank you all for a very...
You’re too nice. The place I live in helps a lot in getting decent snapshots. I don’t have much merit, except bringing my camera with me, which I do most of the time now since the M50 is so small.
