lightroom, i like it because it sorts files when import and u can go back and look for them by filters. now I only have about 10k photos, but I imagine if you have 50k or 100k or so it may be slow.

i broke mine too, but it was just a few day after i bought it, it's a really fragile lens, my 2nd lens i keep a hood on it always, most people who breaks the autofocus or manual focus accidently...
nice shots steve.. I guess in this case it's the photographer that matters... but seriously there's nothing to be worth praising about the kit lens haha.. if you zoom in enough you'll see all the...
yes, if it's xsi vs 50 D i'd pick 50D for sure, because i'm more concerned about image quality then price difference, and not suggesting that I have all the capital resource to buy a medium format...
by thinner dof , do you mean the area in focus will seem smaller? I guess that makes sense. that's the problem I do either a lot of macro or telephoto, rarely wide angle.
17-85 I'm not worried...
image quality wise, which one should i go with?
lens I have. EFS-60, EF 50 1.4, 17-85, 70-400 F4 IS
the hair on her faceaccentuatedby the contrast (edge) is bothering me a bit. .. but still.. thanx for the tutorial
has anyone purchase anything refurbished? how is the condition? is it like new? i'm looking at a refurbished camera and was wondering if it's heavily used, the seller claims that they received the...
also being in retail business before, some manufactures make you sign a "minimum advertising price" and you can't sell below this price until the manufacture offers you promotion or special...
feels like that... or maybe it's only because the rebate program is out and stores online and offline is correcting their price slowly back to it's "normal" state... how often does these rebate...
do you think canon will eventually make it though? I have a 1.6 crop camera and eventually want to upgrade to full frame, just worried about if i buy 17-55 for now to satisfy my current need i'll...
i for one like the picture with border(but maybe not exactly the way it was executed.. i mean c'mon it's a picture of a cat.. i'm a cat owner... and i know they belong with the borders picture.. =)

was reallydisappointedwith the imagequality. the compact form is the only reason that I carry this but then I really don't mind carrying slr with compact lens. the camera itself costs almost the same...
simple way around is to adjust ur image on screen to be lighter and print. hard way... is to spend more money or time to calibrate monitor & printer
pretty eye, but where's the blue light coming from? it's creating a weird CA. also I think if the eye lashes was sharper it would be great.
start with 50mm F1.4 You won't bedisappointed, you won't be able to zoom but for a beginner you'll learn to walk around and really compose your shots, it works great in low light, and also in...
nice shot, I do think the texture/rain whatever that's causing the streak is a bit too overwhelming. I think a more subtle streak would be look very nice.
beautifulbeautiful color combination, blue and red with greenascent. was it all thought out?
got G10, although it's almost costs as much as XSi (body) it's great and maybe the only P&S i'd use for anything serious. you can attach flash, pocketwizard, and for these small camera, when lighting...
these are very big cats and almost intimidating, it looks like you cropped into a picture that was shot further away? it would be nice to throw some light on the cat by means of flash on or off...
nice colors. more like bay with crane? haha. (since crane is secondary read) but really nice mood that you have captured.
interesting flower, in a way they are mostly downward tinting, I wonder if it'll be more interesting if the angle(or the flower chosen for the shot) is even more dramatic, I feel that even thought...
nice shots. especially the first one.
there's a satisfaction when you shoot these type of images. looks good congrats. I can never track down those birds when they zoom by... like a little UFO, very unpredictable where they are zooming...
I'd like to hear about what left handed people say haha. I feel that it's about we are used to reaching out with our right hand and it feels comfortable when something is within our reach. the fact...
