@Steve, nice shot ... Agree the head looks like a Clydesdale, but the body frame (skinny as it is) doesn't, so he's probably a mix. Maybe a Shire/Clydesdale mix
Project is no longer required. One of the workflow improvements
Denise, I've very pleased with the DXO upgrade. Vast improvement in workflow. They fixed most of what I thought was wrong with version 6. They keep heading down this path and I'll likely not need...
I actually have both and they get used about equally. The 400 f/5.6 though, I think trumps the 100-400 for sharpness, particularly with targets at longer distances.
Especially at f/5.6.
Sean and Steve pretty well nailed the nits. The 3rd shot is the winner.
Congrats, I've had the 70-200 f/4 for 5-6 years. Great lens! I use my 1.4 x with it all the time. Quality is fine, but auto focus speed takes a hit and the auto focus on the 70-200 f/4 isn't that...
Just terrific
Thanks Wally
Nice shot. Agree a little softness is desired in this case.
I like the way HDR processing handles scenes like this. Texture that's on the edge of being over the top but still a clean scene.

Jan, I too like them all but the last one is a real standout. Great series.
Super job tracking them down and capturing them Denise.
Very familiar w/ the Lens Baby concept, but haven't seen many examples so I'm looking forward to more contributions.
I have a Pelican 1510. Supposedly the largest legal size for carry on. Doesn't hold as much as I'd hoped with the padding configuration, so it's usually just my overflow case. Also have a Think...
@ Pat, A snowy owl is definitely something I'd like to add to my collection. Nice capture. I should learn about their habitat. The eagle shot gets me excited. Can't wait for the Mississip to...
I use Michael Tapes WhiBal reference card. Size and density of a credit card and I literally carry it in my wallet. Whenever the light cast is iffy I simply shoot one frame of the reference card...
Thanks Steve, honestly, I like them better full size than in web presentation, but overall I was happy with them.
Spectacular images to start this tread with folks. Just wanted to make a contribution.

Very Nice Denise. A friend of mine actually had a chance to photograph the tower from the inside a few years ago.

I am so glad to hear the news Densie, I've been very worried.
I could never get that clarity with my 40D at ISO 1600. In fact, I'd cringe everytime I had to go to ISO 800. Well done
Fabulous Cityscape Steve
too funny
