Anyone else with experience with the SensorPen? and is this normal?
I've purchased both my bodies used.
My 20D I got when it was still quite new, from the local camera store. This one I was able to see, hear the story, etc.
My 1DmkII I just purchsed off eBay....
The 5DII is not weather sealed.
At least not like the 1 series, it has sealing around the access doors, but that's about the extent of it.
This isn't really a cut-and-dried conversation.
Read here for a look at how it can vary greatly: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_megapixels_would_it_take_to_equal_a_35mm_film_maximum_quality...
The amount of shots you will get in a burst is far more dependent on your camera settings, not really the card you are using.
Because in the burst it is filling the internal buffer prior to writing...
Someone can correct me if needed, but from what I know the programs available will only work on 1 series cameras.
The one I've used is called 1dcount.
CanCount was a popular program, more...
I think its fantastic, but i keep trying to scroll up to see more of the rocks? Guess i would like too see the waterfall start lower in the frame.
I just recently got the 300.
I have not had a chance to take all that many photos yet, I did shoot some hockey that I was pretty pleased with, I can try to put some up of those a bit later.
...
Send 'em my way? ;)
Ok, back to seriousness.
I also like the first one the best.
My problem with the second one is the shadow on the back wall, quite distracting to my eyes.
We seem to get that happening quite a bit at my work, and they leave marks too, but have not had one as perfect as yours.
I have one with the body and one wing, but not both.....I'm assuming...
Oops.
Should have elaborated a bit, it's the LensPen SensorKlear pen.

Ok, so yesterday my lenspen arrived, and being curious as to what it was i opened it and had the urge to touch it.
But I didn't for fear of getting it dirty.
What I did is wipe my thumbnail...
Thank you everyone.
Please, keep going with the ideas.
I currently have an older version of Elements and a copy of CS2.
I've had CS2, but since I didn't know what I was doing I thought maybe I...
Don't be too envious of the 75-300......I just sold one, while it had the reach, overall it's not a very impressive peice.
I picked up a 300 f4L and am looking to put a 70-200 along with it to...
I think the 70-200 would help round out your collection better than the 24-70.
You don't seem to have anything that is very wide, especially with a crop body, but if that's not a concern.
I'm terrible with PS as I just have no idea what it all means and what to do.
What are people using for software any why?
I hear a lot about Lightroom, what is the advantage/dissadvantage?
Thanks.
For some reason my computer loaded the drivers just fine and it recognizes the camera, but the sofware does not. :|
I guess I'll keep trying.
My 1DmkII is used and the exif data shows the previous owners name.
Anyone can direct me on how to change it?
That's what I'm talking about!! Where do you shoot? I'm hoping to do some shooting at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham this Spring. Should be a round of the AMA Superbike series there near the...

If you can get away with the f4, but want to add IS, the 24-105 f4L IS is a great option I hear.
(no personal experience, but am looking at it for a purchase myself)
...
Unit was complete with all manuals, cords, software, etc.

The shoulder strap hadn't even been hooked up, ever.
Just got my new-to-me 1DmkII.

Only 12,060 actuations!
Ok, got it last night.
Wow, I like it. Haven't had the time to really get to know it yet, but have taken about 50 shots just playing around.
The AF definately seems faster. Shutter.....WAY...
Mine feel the same.

I don't think that either of them have as positive of a feel as the ones on my 20D with the BG. They're kinda spongy.
