    Looked up the 430EX just now and couldn't find it any cheaper so guess that makes things a bit easier in deciding.

    Up until now, I've never been big on flash photography but I don't now whether that's more to do with using the on-camera flash....

    I do have the 16-35 (by accident- long story!) but its unopened as I decide whether to keep it.

    16-35 = 24-70?

    Hi, I'm a first time user and am just wondering whether the 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM on a cropped sensor could equate more or less to the24-70mm f/2.8L USM on full frame.


    I know on a cropped sensor...
