So I finally got fed up with not having any editing software on my fancy new desktop (I misplaced my DPP cd) and bought LR3. Is there any way to mess with in camera settings if I'm editing RAW in...
I'll try to refrain next time, sorry shea.

Nice shot Shea I don't think I've ever even seen a humming bird's nest before. my only real criticism is the dof doesn't cover the entire nest minor but a little distracting, looks like it focused a...
yeah background is my big gap in my setup, i don't quite have the capital for anything decent either in materials or supports so I wind up jerry-rigging everything.
Here's one I took today of a girl I went to high school with and her 3 year old.
CC welcome

I like the shot but I find the dark vignetting in the upper corners a bit distracting and overpowering
Here's two of mine from today, I only have a quantaray 70-300mm with horrible clarity but I got two cool ones.
I really like this one because of the bits of snow the bird is kicking up.

I suggest a ghillie suit but its either alot of work or decent money (more than a simple popup blind) but they work wonderfully and you get added mobility.
Wearing them I've been about 8-10...

Which camera do you have?
Do you have a memory card in the camera? That may be the reason you can't take a picture.

This is from a shoot I did with my friends, the emotion is apathy
Exif: 1/80 f/8.0 XTi 24-70 f2.8 w/ 1 KF36 flash full power bounce out of an umbrella upper camera left 1 KF36 at 1/4 bare aimed...

I have some similar to that but it was so cold (25-30 degrees) we didn't really have much choice in wearing something that would really look that good. we've made plans to go back when its warmer...
here's one I took of my friend today while playing in an abandoned house.
Exif and such:
F8.0 ISO 100 1/125 XTi w/ 24-70 F2.8 Cactus KF36 bounced out of an umbrella full power to the...
I'll be honest, I don't really know any rules.... so I'm just going to assume I break most of them.
Since 200mm is a little shot for outdoor sports (I assume that's what you mean by field), possibly the 400 5.6L, I've never had the opportunity to use either but I've used cheap lenses in that range...
wonderful shots you've got there I really like the 2nd and last one
Cats are cuter!
