Painted sunset by dfwatsoneuro, on Flickr
This is a try at enhancing the colors in a sunset photograph taken in 2019.
All shots were enjoyable this week. I was most drawn to the two birds looking cold. Somehow the pose of the "Waxwing in Winter" captured the misery even more than the "Kentucky Ice Storm."

Congratulations, Kari! Most fitting since you have posted several lovely shots of the northern lights.
Congratulations, Brant!

Lots of visual treats this week. By a whisker I give the nod to "Migration" over "Shadows and Reflections."
Congratulations, Brant!

Karsaa,
I very much enjoyed the video also! Whatever the inconveniences of the intervalometer, you have produced a fabulous result.

I am thoroughly enjoying all your Teton pictures. The Colter Bay shot reminded me of great times there when the kids were in elementary school, skipping rocks and looking at the Perseid meteor...
I'm already glad not to be judging this week!
Congratulations, Brant!
Congratulations, Patrick! The shot really draws the viewer in.

Hard to be graceful with full cheek pouches.
Love the nutcrackers!
I catch focus on more birds compared to when I started, but I still miss many shots. Last night some barn swallows were easy to find near the house, but they did not care to...
I agree more sharpness would be nice. In part the DOF does not include the whole rabbit. I perceive the focal plane is near the eye, but just beyond. For sure, MY best nature shots are not on par...

I have been trying to practice shots with movement of the subject. This fellow obliged. ...
Interesting effect with the foreground, gulls, Patrick. The titmouse certainly is technically superb. The macro flower makes a common subject seem fresher.
BUT, the winner is "How cute am I?" ...
