Well, late reply... Lol. Got it back and all was fine...for a bit... Started happening again. Sent it back in and no fault found, since then its been fine... Confusing...

Gone in to repair today. I'm getting a service done on it as it probably needs one anyway!

They will let me know if it will cost more for any repairs.

Ok, for one it's nothing to do with shutter speeds etc. It's the same setup I always use.

I have two 580ex2's. Both work fine and flawless on my 50D.

On my 5D using either of them doesn't work...

I just got stuck in a way of using P mode on the 50D and then using the flash in manual, I used to use that for quick snaps where I would increase the flash power...

I also noticed that with shutter priority mode on and flash in manual it sets the aperture to 22, no matter what...

Absolutely! The good thing as well is WIndows 7, no matter what version you buy, they all ship with both 32 &amp; 64 bit versions!

Its down to personal taste. I think Macs are great, but I prefer PC's.
