Hey Burns223,
Images are a little underexposed in my opinion. Also, looking at the bird feeder, I think you either A. missed the focus or B. the lens needs to be adjusted. I think the DOF is...
Does anyone have a suggestions for an online proofing gallery for clients. I would like to be able to brand the gallery with my logos and domain name if possible. The one I am using now is flash...
I wouldn't waste your money on a flash meter, I use the histogram primarily on the camera. If you want I will sell you my Sekonic for half off if you want it.... that is if I can find it.

Hey Ralph,
I ussually point the flast straight up (if inside) with a +2 FEC, or straight at the subject for fill flash with a -2 FEC in lower lights and maybe -1 if outside in brighter lights....
awesome pictures, I bet that is one cool camera!
No, it does not do this sort of stuff. This sounds like the liquify tool in PS. This must be a stronger editing software than what I thought, it sounded like a basic editor such as colors, contrast...
I assume by face sculpting you mean deleting texture for smoother skins. LR does have atool to soften skins but essentially all it does is declarify the image. I rarely use this tool and instead...
I have not used this program, but if you are trying to stream line the process I would recommend Lightroom. You can develope a photograph, then use those settings and have them applied to every...
This is great advice, I have some crap that sits and collects dust because I thought that you had to have it to be a professional photographer.
Learn your camera, learn what kind of pictures...

My shelf broke and dropped my 70-200 and cracked the uv filter and nothing else. Still shoots like a champ. I almost cried when it happened. Glad to hear it is still working.
I don't have the 80 1.8, but have heard nothing but praise for it. My friend has one on a 1.6 crop and has taken some awesome pictures. However, I use the 50 1.4 almost as much as the 24-70 and have...
I vote a lot of photoshop.
gotcha, pocket wizard would be the most ideal situation then, but that is an expensive way to go.
Thanks, I have thought about getting a blue gel to bring it up to around 5200k but you lose about 60% of the light source. I will try that, but I was wondering if there were any post production tips...
I use an off camera light sometimes for effects, but white balancing it can be challenging. The light has a 3200K bulb which is usually only usefull in low light situations. Obtaining a good white...
I use a 5ft cord and have not had a problem with length while in the studio, a 10ft might be more appropraite if you take your studio lighting to weddings.
I would spend my money on specialty items last, get the general purpose stuff first that has multiple uses.
