I kinda find the mirrorless vs DSLR thing very similar to the Android vs iOS debate in that I'm very happy with my iPhone, but every single person I meet who has an android based phone almost falls...
Had TDP considered looking at an mini site covering the EOS-M range of cameras, 1st and 3rd party lenses, accessories and realistic options for using non EF-M lenses, for example, using classic...
Multiple copies....
Source data on my main computer, managed with Lightroom in year folders, data gets migrated every few years when I buy a new bigger hard drive. Second copy of all my source...
I live in the UK, just on the edge of a city called Sheffield - it's where all the steel came from at one point ;-)
Thanks both, some great ideas to investigate in more detail. As to when, probably the late spring, early summer... May/June, so need to check the road closure dates on some of the higher...
Looking at taking a two week holiday in the US, I realise it's a huge place, but pondering where to start, without bouncing all over the place ! I'm into mountains, coastal and amazing roads, but...
If it's any help, I'm still on iOS 8.1.3 - been meaning to update for a few weeks to 8.3, I'll let you know if it makes any difference.
The image is a screenshot via Safari - the link is just where the image is stored - the font size issue seems to be hit and miss in that the 35mm f1.4 review now views nicely, but the 11-24mm review...
Hi folks, I'm having text size issues with the TDP website on my iPhone 6 - is there a text size tool on the mobile site or can something be done to fix the huge text.

Zermatt/St Moritz in September ? I was there in April and we had snow in the towns, went up Gronergrat to 3200m and the temperature dropped to -24 degrees, but it felt hot in the sun and took my...

Having visited London lots and Paris recently, I didn't want for tele ranges... Most of my pictures are with the 16-35 & 24-70 ranges, both f2.8 - I didn't really feel a desperate need to go wider...
+1 on the EOS-M
I've used the M22mm prime for a couple of years, but just added a M18-55mm, which is stunning... My other camera is a 6D mostly with my 24-70 MkII
That's OK, I'm in no real rush to drop £1500 on a lens just yet ;-)
Brant, could you confirm if the Sigma actually has AF when using the 1.4x extender on a camera that AF's to f5.6 ? (i.e. not the 1Dx or 5D3) as I've read conflicting comments on this.
I'm pleased that the whole 5D range hasn't moved stupidly up the Canon model range. The idea of using the 5D body for a range of solutions echo's the previous 1D strategy, but at a much lower price...
Similar thing happened to me with my 16-35MkII, cost me £180 to get fixed, needed a new front body section and it was checked over as part of the repair
Yum yum... Anyone want to buy my 70-300L ;-)
I've had a 24-70 2.8 II for about 18 months on my 6D, I'd love to find a small high quality alternative for when I'm hiking - been toying with a 40mm pancake or the 35mm IS but feel I'd be missing...
I've read elsewhere that the new N batteries are backward compatible in the 7D/6D/5DIII etc but the old ones don't work in the 7DII
My money is on a Pink 100D/SL1 ;-)
Having got shut of my 50 f1.4 to part fund another lens, prime wise I'm left with my 22mm EF-M, 135L and my lensbaby - which gives me both a 12mm fisheye and a 50mm playful lens on my full frame...
So many lenses, so little disposable income. ! Haha...
I'm torn, I've felt that I needed a long reach zoom for a while the 100-400 + extenders were looking like the compromise with AF to 400 but...
The Canon 100-400L is such an old lens now, the pumper isn't for me and to be fair, beyond 300mm isn't something I want to carry when I'm walking, so I got myself a modern 70-300L with great optics...
The Canon 70-300 (non L) is very nice, the sharpness drops off beyond 200mm, but I never really found it a problem. My biggest gripe was the AF when tracking fast objects like aircraft, searching...
