    Why not just use a lens hood? I always have hoods on my lenses, and they have protected the lenses from countless bumps.

    FS/FT: TS-E 17mm f/4L

    I've got a mint TS-E 17mm with everything that comes with it in the box. 17mm is a tad bit too wide for my taste/use, so I want to go with a 24mm TS or prime lens.
