Congrats!
Beautiful shot, Jon! Getting north to see (photograph) the Norther Lights is on my "list".
Hi Pat, how long have you used the duo-clamp on the BR? I have a 1" Kirk screw-type clamp on mine (Neuro set-up) but this interest me. is the safety feature the additional piece on the lever?
I recently purchased my first a LensCoat for 300/2.8 II because I wanted to protect the paint from rubs and scuffs. No matter how careful I try to be, time takes its toll. My mark I had a few...
Looks like Adorama has started shipments! Hopefully yours is on its way to you, David.:D
Nice set of images, everyone...Congrats, Zach.
I would guess that an "I don't know" response is easier to deal with than the customer backlash for setting false expectations. Imagine the B&H customer service center on the 13th, and 14th, if they...
I swapped e-mails with Jacob Waldner @ Adorama last night....not tipping their hand on shipping dates yet. Would only give me a "sometime this month" answer. Hoping for sooner than later, too.
Pre-ordered the 100-400 today...looks like it is going to be a solid performer for my needs...family/kids sports and occasional wildlife..
600 II is on my wish list, but cannot justify it to...
Wow! What a great set of pics.
Beautiful stuff!
I would agree that going full frame would be a great move for your stated shooting style. As PatrickH pointed out, 5DII's are coming down on price in the used marketplace and that "pro feel" can be...
Some people swear by them (I am one of them) and others have their own preferences, like the Spider holster.
Extremely dependable product. Followed advice from John (@Neuro) and attached a 1"...
Hi All-
I am not sure everyone is aware of an additional discount TDP members are eligible for when buying from Adorama. I recently purchased the Mark III teleconverters/extenders and received a...
I really like the site. I will view it from my desktop later tonight to get the full effect of the site (on iPad now). It has a warm and intimate feel, even without the slideshow.
The portfolio...
Looks great and easy navigation with the hyperlinks. The color scheme works well with your style. The pix are great examples of your work. Did not see the "before", but the "after" is great.
I am with USAA. Description and serial numbers only. Sounds over the top to me, for residential insurance. Not sure if that is standard for commercial insurance. Are they confusing the two?
Things outside of Philly (NW of city) aren't too bad. Heavy winds and LOTS of rain. Power has cut out 4-5 times but back on in minutes.
Heard from friends in Jersey that things are really ugly. ...
Really nice capture!
By all accounts, the 17-55 is "L" quality. The comparable 17-40L is an f4 v. f2.8 which you have. Plus you lose 15mm on the long end. IMO, not really an "upgrade".
Wow, John. That 600 is sharp!
Always tough keeping one step ahead of the schmucks!
Going to be a long weekend..........
Can't wait to hear about the day and see your work!
You will do great! :)
Best wishes for an uneventful event!

Did not see a graph for the 16-35, but this is what they had for the 70-200. (scroll to bottom of page)
