I sold my version I for $1800 ... because I had sold my Camera... but this year looks like the year I'll be blowing a mint, especially if the 24-70 IS comes out like predicted :)
I just hope...

When I pickup some new equipment, I won't be surprised if I spend that or very close.
5DMarkII - $3k
24-70 - $1.3k
$400 for the body??
I sold my 40D with Nifty Fifty + 2Gb CF Card for $900 Cdn :)
The 2.8 is a tank, the 4 is not so much but still a great lens. And I've been told a lot sharper IQ.
Also .. as mentioned, yes I was comparing 2.8 vs 4.. not 4 vs 4 with IS :) I just assume...
It won't be heavier for sure. Look @ 70-200 f4 IS, it's lighter :)
There's always rumors, we'll see when they actually announce them.
But the 2 rumors I'm looking forward to coming true are the 24-70 IS and 70-200 2.8 IS II.
Also a 15-24 would be greatly...
Actually no.. I'm holding off until Spring.
I've got the money collecting interest.. and I'm holding off until either it drops in price a bit more or they release a 24-70 IS [:P]
But...
Aden Camera
Downtown Camera
And I'm pretty sure Henry's all carry Crumpler bags... not sure if I've seen a pink one. Grey, Brown, Green, Red are some of the colours I've seen, but no...
On a crop, the 10-22 IMO.
For FF.. 16-35 or 17-40L are both great options. If not, I've also seen great reviews on the Sigma/Tokina lens...
1st one is a nice view, but I think you have too much of the ceiling in there, maybe crop it a bit?
And agreed on the little dark on some points..
Sony Vegas is a great program.
Agreed on this... the 3rd shot has/had more potential .. just seems a bit OOF.
I was in a similar boat.. I went from the S100 (which I loved to death at the time) ... then I swapped to the G2 and really enjoyed it for the time I had it, even bought some of the "lens" for it.
...
IMO, Die EF-S [:P]
I was praying that 7D was a FF ;) But now I'm stuck buying a 5D II this weekend hopefully ...
Forget my previous recommendation.. get a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L...
You really have 3 options... IMO
24-70 is a great lens if you think it'll be enough reach, best best is to honestly maybe rent it and try it.. or just go into a store and bring your camera and...
I'm pretty sure it's based on the USD vs YEN... nothing to do with the Economy.
USD is tanking right now, and as a Canadian I'm very happy ;)
Long as it doesn't affect your photos dont' worry about it.
If it's possibly fungi, then you might have a problem... if it's brand new, I'd just return it if you're that concerned, most stores...
It's most likely something on the focusing screen... Rocketblower ... is about your best bet to get it out of there.
But if it's not affecting your pictures, then don't worry about it really...
IMO.. time is money.
Will this take all day, will it be a quick 10 minute shoot... how many shots will they want. Do they eventually want to do 3D tours online?? :)
Generally for Real...
Maybe the 135 2.8... or if you want.. 135L if you want to spend a bit more.
Oh the days when I could go to bed late, get up early and be fine.
But now... it's typically ~midnight these days and wake up just after 7am, wake-up... shower, walk the dog, make breakfast,...
TN panels are HORRIBLE at Colour reproduction .. they're the non-name panels of the LCD world :)
You get what you pay for! I paid $700 for my LCD a few years ago and it's great! I could of paid...
Great to hear you enjoyed your 6MDH! I haven't taken my 7MDH out for a real spin as I've got no body right now LOL! But I will agree, when I did use it briefly and when it had my 70-200, 580 EX, 40D,...
If you plan to use a tripod or possibly a monopod you can save yourself the $$.
The 70-200 2.8 IS is a wonderful lens I love mine a lot.. but it's a heavy beast :)
But if you can sit down,...
Forget budget... there is ONLY ONE! [:O]
