Yes you always bring good luck! It was fun to try this spot with a 14 mm wide angle.

Yes -- very cool! Great catch. And tack sharp too --- as per usual!
I'd be especially keen on your fall season, especially if it covers October and November. Our fall ends a bit sooner here so it would be nice to have an alternative destination to extend it a bit!
Spectacular! I think I need to go to Switzerland in October!
Love that tight scene --- classic Amsterdam!
Ditto that! Love the wide angle shot with way too many eagles to count. Nice bear shot too!

My experience with airports is that as long as your bag is within the legal size for carry on, it will be okay. So far in all my travels I have never been hassled for being well over the weight...
Thanks for coming over to play in my backyard! You always seem to bring good luck. I want to see your stream photos too!
Morning Reflection
Brant (Kayaker72) was here for work and had the chance to connect, so I showed him a few photo spots. He always seems to bring good luck.

Lonely Bull Elk, Banff
It's rutting season and the elk are doing their best to attract the ladies. I saw this guy this morning, singing loudly all to himself. Maybe he needs lessons?

Great entries this week, but that spider really jumped out at me so Joel gets the nod. The setting with the dark background makes it even more menacing and impressive. Thanks for letting me be the...
Thanks everyone --- and yes this is a great thread to follow.
It was hard to go wrong in the Pantanal --- I was expecting some nice variety but was really pleasantly surprised by just how...
Seasons Changing (not an entry)
Our favourite fall hike is Pocaterra Ridge in Kananaskis, Alberta. The weather was a bit blustery but the overcast light made the colours pop just a bit more. Taken...
I knew I was doomed as soon as I saw his entry! :)
Congrats Jayson --- well deserved!
Arnica Lake, Banff National Park
The larch trees are turning gold, in advance of losing their needles. This makes it the best time of year to go for a hike!

I had a great photo trip to the Pantanal of Brazil a couple weeks ago, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to see jaguars and other exotic species. The jaguars are the main attraction...
As a follow up on this, I downloaded SyncBack and gave it a try. They have three versions, with the simplest being free and the two more advanced ones as paid. I tried both the free version and the...
I definitely like where you're going with this. The panorama crop works well, except for that log on the far right which is a bit of a distraction. I think it would be okay to clone the log out, or...
I'm looking for advice on software for drive mirroring. I finally decided to set up a mirroring system for my external hard drive (where I keep all my raw files), so that I always have a synced copy...

Super shot, Joel. The only thing that comes to mind is perhaps you could brighten up the shadow area on the left side a little bit. There's some interesting detail in there which could possibly be...
Here's my own attempt at a fun story, or at least a chuckle: I'm just back from a bear photography trip to Alaska, and I got this shot yesterday evening from my own backyard. Plus the neighbours...
Hi Joel - welcome back to the forum!
Certainly weight matters an awful lot when you are hiking, so it's hard to resist going with the lightest possible kit. My only suggestion would be to go with...
I'm back from a fun bear-viewing trip to Alaska, my second trip to this fabulous part of the world. This time we were in Katmai Park (last time was Lake Clark). As always there is no shortage of...
