    Photo Printing Help

I just bought a Canon Pixma MP620 to scan, print photo's ect ect. So far the test prints on 4x6 I've done came out perfectly, but one photo came out extremely dull and color faded. I know it has something to do with color space but I don't want to waste ink testing every color space/setting. It was a photo I had the same problems with uploading to the web, somewhere along my post processing the color space got screwed up.

Anyways, what color space/profile are you supposed to use for photo prints?

If the printing application is color-space aware, and configured correctly, it should print with accurate color (by converting between the color spaces correctly). It sounds like there may be a configuration problem. To help diagnose where the problem is, you might try converting the image to the sRGB color space before printing, and see if that helps.
