Canon Angle Finder C vs. Live View

I am considering adding the Angle Finder to my kit. But I am also considering an upgrade to the 5D II this spring or summer. My question is regarding the use of Live View for precise manual focusing vs. the viewfinder magnification offered with the Angle Finder. Is Live View suitable for that type of precision?

Yes. With the high resolution LCD and 10X magnification it's easy to be very precise. A vital feature for any tripod-based shooting such as astrophotography and macro.

The 5D II is a significant upgrade, so it might be pushed off a bit. But it's nice to know that I might not need the extra pieces in my kit. Thanks.
