    Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Monitor – U3415W

Does anybody happen to have use experience of this monitor?

This is currently in quite cheap price and been looking for new monitor and atleast what i have heard from smaller Dell ultrasharps they have been quite good in photo editing wise also.

No experience with it, but I'd be concerned about the curved display for photo editing, as the typical photo viewing surface will be flat, ie: regular monitor, or a print. I'd definitely want to find a photography oriented review where they had an extended period of use, to see if they felt the curve was a negative or not.

I have been looking at Dell UltraSharps as well. Not getting into the spec's, the one thing I would be worried about with a curved monitor is: How do you accurately control distortion in post processing on a curved surface. It seems like it would introduce some optical anomalies that would be difficult to reconcile with a flat print for example. What you see might not be what you get in another media (especially if it is on a desk top in close proximity to the viewer).

I may be all wet, but that would be my main concern.

Edit: Looks like Dave was a quicker typer and beat me to it.

That is my main concern also. And after looking through the store's other options, found a dirt cheap 4k monitor which i will be looking next =)

This one https://www.asus.com/Monitors/PB287Q/ and its 300 euros cheaper than this dell's 34 inch.
