    Dolica brand filters any good?

Is the Dolica brand of filters any good? I'm thinking of picking up some ND filters and were looking at these: http://www.amazon.com/Dolica-CF-NDK77-Neutral-Density-Filter/dp/B001M5RHDA/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=12732 33137&sr=8-5

In this world, you usually get what you pay for. $50 for a set of 3 ND filters? You're not going to get good optical quality, I'm afraid. Although you don't list your camera/lenses in your profile, if you're looking at the 77mm size ND filters I'd infer that you have reasonably good lenses. Putting a cheap filter on a good lens is a bad idea, IMO.

Rather than trying to get 3 ND filters for less than the cost of one good one, I'd suggest getting just a good quality 0.9/8x/3-stop ND filter. Personally, I use B+W filters, which are top-of-the-line (and priced accordingly). But Hoya HMC filters are also excellent, and you can get a Hoya HMC 77mm NDx8 filter for about the same cost as the set of cheaper filters you linked above.
