Knoll Light Factory for Photoshop
Magic Buller Photolooks
Text Anarchy

Does anyone have experience with these?
Do I invest the time to explore them.
I don't do video

If you don't do video, there's no need. If you ever do become interested in doing video, it might be worthwhile to experiment with them.

There are two things I think work in a lightroom-type enviroment, but as Sean said, it's mainly video. Excellent if you're willing to learn mojo stuff. I think they still have a video on how they did a 3D look using a 2D image that's kinda cool too.
