Welcome sebaparra, we're glad to have you here. For my eye, photos 1,2, & 4 are my favorites. I must admit, I do love turtles! Photo 3 would be better if the flowers were not withered.

Welcome to the forums Sebastian. It is hard to say in regards to advice for your portrait photography. Perhaps post some of your efforts and ask for critique. To start, the eyes are what you want in focus. And keep an eye out for distracting background objects.

    Good luck

Welcome Sebastian, I have to agree with the others in that the turtle is my favorite, But I also really like the angles and color of the wall/passageway.

Agree with the turtle. Great light to bring out the texture. The composition also makes the photo. Welcome and keep it up!

    Hey sebaparra,

I like the composition of the turtle shot, it seems to be smiling almost.

Composition-wise, I like number 3 but not number 2....number 2 shows flowers the way we always see them- looking down on them, whereas number 3 shows a perspective we don't get as often.

The picture of the hammock on your Flikr is great too!
