    There was quite a bit of noise in other parts of the pic as well. There were some really defined black objects in the picture that really drew my attention to it, but on closer observation you could see the grain in other areas as well.


    My first thought was that the 1D IV doesn't handle noise as well as the 5D Mark II. But I have been doing this as a hobby long enough now to know that its usually someones technique when things happened. Since I started using the Auto ISO I thought the jump up in 2 to 3 stops in ISO might be causing it.
