    Advice from a Pro...

I found this wonderfully helpful video while strolling the Flickr strobist discussion threads. I simply had to share. You might want to have a notepad and pencil handy.

Wow, turn the dial to 'P'? I never tried that. And color coordinated accessories?
And all this time I thought I was a pro. I can just leave my brain at home. Its so easy.

Its funny how often at weddings I hear so many people tell me that anyone can be a pro now with a digital camera.

I thought we'd have some appreciative people here. And you don't have to wait for more--I think she's made 5 in the series already. :-)

I've been going about it all wrong this whole time!

Finally a "Pro" that's not afraid to "get real". I found this very inspirational, this game is a lot easier than I thought.
Someone should press her P button, LOL.
I agree, I'm hoping it was a joke as well.

I just watched all five of her videos. The most amusing is “Accessorize”. I didn’t know how important it is for your camera bag to match your camera strap and clothes, until now.

Video #5 marketing is actually informative and seriously a person could get some tips. Think what you will about her photographic skills, but she can market herself. I think what you are buying from a session with her is personality with pictures.

I like this quote “..how your clients know how great you are, is by you telling them”

I want to be a “Rock Star” to.

Unfortunately, this never worked for me. I'm thinking about renting some billboards, though...
