    Go Skate!

The "Post your best Action Sports" threads never seem to catch on. I don't think that there is a large enough demographic of users here that shoot the topic. But for those of us that do, lets see your skate photos! Thread is in the "Image critique" category because I'm always interested in others' opinions/suggestions.

I had a sick sunset session with some friends at the local skate park yesterday. Got me all excited for some city trips this summer. You REALLY have to view Image 4 in the large size. Link provided. []

    Thanks Sean,

What do you think of the light being left in the fourth shot? I tried a crop with out it, but in my opinion, it took too much of the stairs away.

I guess it depends on what you want in the shot. Personally, I'd do a 2x3 crop ratio starting at the top left and dragging to the bottom. That would crop out the guy holding up the light, but not the light itself (part of the pole will remain too). That way, the light could actually be mistaken for a light that might actually be there at the skate park.

Great stuff Roger! I like that last one a lot. I wish I had some willing subjects for these sorts of shots.
