Why I've been hanging in a swamp.....

.....3 or 4 days a week since mid March.


This morning I finally saw and captured some pix of a Great Horned owlet;

Thank you for your kind words folks and forgive my thanks tardiness....I just returned from Ft. Lauderdale (no pix, just the wife and I....I left my mistress home) and I'm hoping tomorrow's weather will allow me to capture some shots of the owlet.

I went over to Bare Hill Swamp this morning (5-24) and the owlet was gone. I also took a ride over to the Rookery and the twin owlets there were also gone.


The wx hasn't been cooperating so I hadn't been there since last week....and s/he was just hunkered in against the cold.
