From Yesterday's Hike
Canon XTi, 50mm 1.4, f5, 1/1250, ISO 100
This was taken at 2:30pm, definitely less than optimal. This is adjusted for white balance with a grey card, a minor increase in saturation, an increase in sharpness, the blue curve pulled down a bit to decrease the hazy/washed-out quality, and cropped. All in Digital Photo Professional.

This shot makes me want to see more of the photo. There is not a comparison for the size of the rocks.

Re: From Yesterday's Hike
The lack of scale makes it quite interesting actually - I cannot quite figure out if that's small things close up, or large things far away. Was that the effect you were going for Steve?

Re: From Yesterday's Hike
Thanks. That's exactly what I had in mind when I came across the scene.

Re: From Yesterday's Hike
I don't know why, but the image gives me the same feeling as those tilt-shift photographs that make big things look like a well-crafted miniature set.
