I have a Canon 15 Fisheye that needs repair (doesn't focus to infinity). I have been told by a trusted shop that CPS doesn't repair older lenses. I looked on the CPS FAQ and didn't see any questions. Does anyone know if this is true?
Thanks

Way too much gear and even more lighting equipment.
Yes, CPS will know if it is true. Why not call their number or drop them an email.

Last I heard, Canon tries to keep repair parts on hand to cover about 18 months after a lens is discontinued (if I remember correctly). However, as some parts don't deplete at the expected rate, they might have parts on hand well over that timeframe (but it depends on which part is needed).
Got a reply from CPS, they still do repairs on the lens! So will send it in this week!
Thanks again!
