    Leica lens on Canon EOS

Anyone have any experience with this? Looking at all the wide angle lenses I am wondering if Leica has solved the vignette issues and the corner sharpness that seems to plague this lens segment

I'll presume you're talking about Leica R lenses? I know they can mount on EF, but Leica M can't except for macro.
I've used almost every other brand of lens through adapters, I would have had experience with Leica too, if it weren't for the price.

Another visitor around here, Gian Luca, uses a few of them, I hope he won't mind me linking to his gallery, there's one halfway down using a Leica R 90 f/2 (Click only if you don't mind nudity and you're not at work). Certainly doesn't look like any vignetting on a Full Frame, but it is a portrait not a wideangle.

Just clicked around a bit more, he's got another one here (don't worry, no nudity) using a Leica R 28 f/2.8, looks like a great lens to me...
An awful lot of electrons were terribly inconvenienced in the making of this post.

    R series, I am thinking about the 19mm 2.8.

Thanks for the links, the 28 certainly looks tight.

I worked in a camera store in a ritzy part of town in the late 70's for a couple of years and Leica was always the to goal and always off the chart expensive - still is.
