What is normal when ordering Refurbished items from Adorama?

I ordered a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM AutoFocus Telephoto Zoom Lens with case& hood - Refurbishedlast night. I got two confirmation e-mails and later got another one saying it was back ordered. I expected to get a canceled order e-mail today but it didn't come. WhenI look at the order history it shows as "Pending". Does this meanI maystill have a dog in the fight or amI most likely SOL?


I'm mostly wondering because I'm going to get this lens regardless and might would go ahead on a new one if all hope is lost on this one.

not to hijack the thread, but its kinda cool that the forum has a personal adorama representative hanging around!

Helen is great at what she does.


My guess is that two people put the lens in their shopping cart at roughly the same time and both were able to purchase it before it registered as being out of stock (last one sold). As Adorama gets [fairly] regular shipments of refurbished gear, I don't think you'd have to wait too incredibly long for it to come back into stock.
