2022 - Best or Favorite Images

I actually consider 2022 a bit of an off year. Mostly as I did not get out for dedicated photos shoots very much after Jan/Feb and as a result most of my images were from vacations or work trips. But, still took some image I am very happy with. Below are a few of my favorites:

The intention here was to get Nubble light with its Christmas lights on and a sunrise behind it. The clouds had a different idea. So, instead, I still took this image with the waves crashing into the rocks.

Great shots Brant! I enjoy this thread every year. I was able to make up for some lost time with a few terrific photo trips:

March: Lynx in Manitoba. This required a bit of work and an awful lot of patience, but it paid off very nicely.







June: Bears in Jasper National Park. Again a fair bit of effort involved here, but a great return on investment:







July: I happily gave up 2 weeks of summer to travel to Patagonia Chile, to sit in the snow in the middle of their winter. This was one of the hardest trips I've done in terms of physical effort, as we had to schlep our gear over miles of hilly terrain to chase after fast-moving pumas. But man did it ever work out well.







September: A drastic change of climate, as I ventured to the Pantanal of Brazil for jaguars. So incredibly hot, but massively productive.
