Is it worth to buy? $500 off on 5D mark ii

I happen to find a deal at Amazon. Is it worth to buy? Which one is better? 7D or 5D mark ii?

Depends on your use. The 5D has better image quality. The 7D has better auto focus and frame rate.
If you are shooting sports or wild life go with the 7D. If you are shooting portraits and landscapes go with the 5D.
Both are great all around cameras. Which ever you choose you can't go wrong.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

Agree - it depends on the intended use. I use my 7D for birds/wildlife and action shooting, and my 5DII for everything else.

Side note from the Amazon link above: "$150 off the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II when purchased with select Canon EOS 5D Mark II or 7D cameras." $150 off an EF-S lens purchased with a 5DII. Such a great deal, thanks, Amazon.

bwahahaha! That must have been a "deal" created by some algorithm or another. Can't even imagine how pissed I'd be if I didn't know why there was a problem with that and made that purchase. Another excellent example of why it's good to do your research before you buy.

Good advice from everyone so far! In the end tho - you will have to bite the bullet and make that decision. They are both nice clickers!
