New 50D User looking for book suggestions

I just upgraded from the XT to the 50D. I'm a serious amateur photographer that would like to take my photography to the next level. What books would you recommend?

Bryan Peterson's "Understanding Exposure" and "Learning to See Creatively" are both excellent books for beginners and advanced amatuers

I agree they are very good choices. I also reocommend Michael Freeman's "Perfect Exposure" and "The Photographer's Eye"
