    Goin' Bananas

    Happy New Year to all! Recently I have been posting photos about food and I have received so much feedback, comments, and suggestions from all the good people of TDP. Once more, I have to ask for your C&Cs on my mom's baking: Banana Cake/Bread. I hope the photos give justice to my mom's delicious baking. It's just bad that the photos are all I can share with you all at the moment. Cheers! Thanks in advance.

    I had to try with a different background:

    MrGreenBug;

    Like I haven't had enough calories this holliday season. To make the pix perfect, IMHO, add some whip cream. [:P]

    The 2nd pic has blown hi-lights on my monitor and in the 4th pic....I find the background unsettling....hair? Pet hair in my house is a condiment, but this background takes it bit too far for me.

    Regards

    Bill

    IMHO, I'd like to see some more texture of the cake. Get closer if you can!

    The colors and lighting seem good, but I think you could've done a little better regarding composition - I want to see the texture of the cake up close so I can almost feel it on my tongue!

    Otherwise: Nice =)

    Thanks Bill for your inputs and this one is a good idea. I'll try it next time when I get a new loaf.

    About the 4th pic, I was just trying out to separate the white dish and and the table cloth as I had trouble giving them "space" that could have resulted like the 2nd pic. Thank you again for your input.

    Thank you Thomas for your comments. Actually, that was my intention, to show the texture of the cake by using the backlight. Were you able to see the photo in a larger view? You may click on the photo for a larger view.
