    What is APS-C?

I have a Rebel XS, I want to buy a macro lens for it. However, the one I was looking at is not for APS-C type cameras. How can I tell if my camera is APS-C, what is APS-C?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yours is APS-C.

It just refers to the size of the sensor. All canon DLSR's are APS-C except the 1D, 1Ds, and 5D series'.

All EF and EF-S lenses will work with APS-C. In fact, IMO the best macro lenses are not specifically designed for APS-C.
