First attempt using video on my 7D

I went down to Lake Michigan after work to take photos and I saw everyone walking to the park w/ chairs. I soon found out there was a concert going on, which we call Peanut Butter & Jam for some weird reason!

I thought I'd give the video a try. Rule #1 - Don't take photos while doing a video! [:P] I didn't know if the video would turn out at all so I took a few photos during it!

Rule #2 - Always use a tripod! I didn't have mine with me!

Other than having to sit on the ground trying not to get in anyone's way behind me and having the sun shining directly in my eyes ...it was a nice concert. The band is called Mellencougar which I never heard them before but I love John's music!

Next time, I hope my city moves the stage to face either north or south!!

No editing has been done because I could not get the video to work in either of two of my programs I tried ...Roxio VideoWave or Pinnacle Studio 12. All I could get was sound! []

Haha brilliant! Just when he is starting to sing you hear a shutter and you get a small delay hihi [:P]

I like the music as well. It does sound somewhat familiar or are they covering a song?

Anyway I hope you had a great time and more luck next time []

Yeah, they play all John Mellencamp music.
For once I should have trusted what I was doing was correct & not doubted that the video would turn out ok (without the "click", "click" of a photo being taken)! [:P]
