    Nikon doh!

    from Facebutt: www.facebook.com/nikon

A photographer is only as good as the equipment he uses, and a good lens is essential to taking good pictures! Do any of our facebook fans use any of the NIKKOR lenses? Which is your favorite and what types of situations do you use it for?

It makes sense that manufacturers would emphasize the gear part of the equation, but it's still a "doh".

Got to do what you have to, to sell your product. The contrary and truth wouldn't seem to sell as much ; )

"You can buy our awesome product, but there may be years of steep learning curve before you can fully utilize it! Buy Now!"

I don't know about their lenses too much, but the Nikon white balance is very impressive : ) My 7D always seems to overexpose/oversaturate the Orange/Red and I have to readjust in post.

That's a pretty disingenuous question... A Nikon fan page with 800,000+ likes, and they ask if any of those 800,000 people have a Nikon lens? If they have to wonder about that, they're completely slamming their own lens quality, and maybe they think all their customers buy Sigma lenses instead?

I guess they never heard that the photographer is the most important part of the equation. A poor photographer will negate the great gear and a great photog will take world class images with very poor gear.

    Some, some times. (Shaking head)
