5D II: 10,000 pics and counting...

I took my 10,000th picture with my 5D II the other day. Not as polished (nice way of saying not as good []) as what some of you are posting, but I'm trying not to worry about that and am having a lot of fun. Here are a few of the results:

    And a couple embedded:

Well, I can tell you the first picture was made with the Canon EF 135mm f/2.0 L USM Lens.

The second picture was made with either the Canon EF 100mm f/2.0 USM Lens or the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens (my guess is the latter).

Good eye, Sean. The first was with the 135mm f/2 at f/2 and the second was the 100mm f/2.8 macro at f/6.3.

How the heck did you know that? Was information embedded in the image, or did you guess it by the composition? I see that there are lens stats below the images now, and I am assuming that it was added after the question was posed.

I added it that stuff afterward.

But aperture, shutter, iso, and focal length are at the picassa website

Come to think of it, the I believe the second image is cropped... so there would be no way to tell by looking at perspective, dof, etc. The only way one could have known aperture and focal length is to have looked.

Correct me, Sean, if I'm wrong.

wow 10,000 clicks already [], I like the depth of field you have on the first image. I would use a little fill flash to brighten her face
