Concert Photography-

Hello all,
I am desperately trying to get some legitimate concert photography gigs, with no luck. All I have been doing so far is contracting bands publicity managers, the problem is I do not have an outlet or a publication to give the photos too, so the publicity people are not interested in accommodating me. If anyone has any good tips on getting gigs, please do share. Also, any ideas for outlets or publications.

One thought would be to see if you could successfully pitch a story idea to a magazine or your local newspaper. If you already have a buyer for your work your credibility will go up. you will likely find that the bigger national publications will only touch you after you have a few articles under your belt already.
