    True, but the cost of selling stuff 2nd hand and then buying again in a different mount is enough to put me off, pretty much forever.
    At least L lenses hold up their value in good nick, i'd be interested in this one if I had the cash.

    Or the best solution is just buy Zeiss primes in ZF mount and use via $10 adapter to Canon, then you can switch bodies whenever you want...

    Agreed, not a small decision.
    Maybe the government could step in and require from manufacturers that all lenses are interchangeable across all brands
