2015 Image of the Week: 30

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally in an annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

There will be only one weekly winner.

    • This entry period for Week 30 will be from Monday July 20th through/including Sunday July 26th
    • Please supply a title for your image.
    • This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
    • Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
    • Enter as many times as you would like.

This week will be judged by Sean Setters

    Good luck!!

Just for the sake of tradition, i'll start the competition!

    "Their everlasting sunset"

Capturing and working on this picture has been very intense for me. I'm back home very excited after the shot and i tried many different kind of PP, mantaining as always, the "realism" of the picture. This is the version I prefered, the one that reflect in a better way what i saw there. This moment existed just for a few seconds, after the crowd at Piazzale Michelangelo, Florence - overwhelm all of this.

    Carpe diem.

Sometimes, you are just lucky. I didn't notice the beaver in this picture until post processing the photo today. I took this of the flower reflecting on the water running late on our way back after shooting loons.....

Hi everyone. Week 30 is now closed as we await Sean's selection. I'll get week 31 up and going as soon as I have a wi-fi connection.

Sorry for the late judging everyone!

It was a tough decision, but I'm going with jamsus's "Their everlasting sunset." The sunset was beautiful, but the mother and child included in the frame just pushed it over the top for me.

    Congrats Jamsus!
